First, you need to fill out an application
form:

or by calling
217 344.3310.
Students outside of the US
If you are outside the US, you should apply
about 6 weeks before the start of the
semester.
1) Complete an application* and mail it to The English Center
with a US $75 non-refundable application fee and the necessary documents
(see notes for Source of Funds & Financial Guarantee on the application
form).
The English Center will mail you an acceptance letter and an I-20
document, which is needed to get a student visa.
2) When you receive your I-20 document, take it to the American
Embassy or Consulate in your country to apply for an F-1 visa.
3) Come to The English Center 1-2 weeks before the start of
the semester. You will need to pay the remainder of the tuition at
that time.
Students who are currently studying in the US
1) Simply submit your application form with a US $75 non-refundable
application fee and bring your I-20 in to the office 1-2 weeks before
the start of classes.
The English Center will complete the I-20 transfer.
